Result of the Pilling open tides consultation

The consultation on Pilling open tides is now closed.

The results were a majority in favour of remaining at Mon-Fri open days.

In response to the question: Would you prefer the Pilling cockle bed be open Wednesday to Sunday?

Yes = 8 votes

No = 9 votes

There will, therefore, be no change to the open days at Pilling cockle fishery.
